"Bound To Fly" is a visual journey through raw, often unspoken human emotions and experiences. In a world where social media shapes much of how we view ourselves, we are constantly pushed to measure our worth against unrealistic standards. The platform that connects us and inspires motivation and support also fosters an environment where we’re told we aren’t enough as we are. It creates an illusion of perfection, leading us to overlook the beauty in life's real, messy moments.
Through this series, I want to break down these illusions and lay bare the genuine emotions that make us human. "Bound To Fly" captures the unpolished truths of our lives, such as the complexity of "loving blind"—the idea that love, no matter how fulfilling, is never perfect. Love comes with vulnerability, frustration, and the bittersweet acceptance of another’s imperfections, all while being a source of profound joy and growth.
With each piece, I hope to remind people that they’re not alone in these messy, beautiful emotions and that being true to oneself is far more valuable than meeting any imposed standard.
